If you learned to SHARE in kindergarten throw that idea away and DON’T SHARE. If you welcome your friends with a HUG stop doing it. This sounds a little harsh, but if you’re a parent who has children with lice, or you are a mother with lice you know exactly what I’m talking about.

It’s embarrassing and difficult to talk about but it’s a real problem in our area and around the world, LICE. About 1 out of 4 children between the ages of 3 and 11 years old have lice. About 1 out of every 4 of the mothers of those children also carries the nasty bugs. Most parents try every over-the-counter shampoo, spray, gel and ointment they can get their hands on. Some mothers take matters into their own hands and spend hours trying to kill the little suckers but time and time again the parasites wins. Penny Warner was one of those mothers.
